IMMEDIATE-TWINS- Baby Jase & Baby Amelia- James 1:17
Baby Jase and Baby Amelia were born on 3-21-25 at 28+6 weeks. Baby Jase weighs 2 lb. 11 oz. and Baby Amelia weighs 2 lb. 9 oz.
Baby Jase now weighs 2 lbs. 13.9 oz. and Baby Amelia now weighs 2 lbs.13.5 oz. (Update from mom)-Please continue praying with us— Amelia and Jase are still having some challenges with their oxygen levels. The doctors are working on transitioning them from non-invasive ventilators to CPAP, and we’re praying that process becomes smoother and more successful in the coming days. Both babies were started on a three-day course of Lasix yesterday to help reduce some of the fluid in their lungs, which were still sounding a bit too wet. Because this medication can sometimes cause sodium and electrolyte levels to drop, they’ll be doing some lab work on Wednesday to make sure everything stays within a safe range.The doctor showed us x-rays taken of both Amelia and Jase earlier in the day, and based on those—along with previous images—he’s worried n that an infection or pneumonia may be starting to settle in their lungs. They’re both beginning antibiotics today while we wait on lab results to determine whether it’s an infection or something else. Amelia’s lungs are looking a little worse than Jase’s right now, so she’ll be receiving a five-day course of antibiotics, while Jase will begin a two-day course, depending on how his labs come back. Because of all this, the doctor and I agreed that holding them—at least for today and possibly a few more days—will need to be put on hold while their little bodies rest and heal.

URGENT NICU- Baby Brooks (J.J.’s Sister & Baby Nephew)- Philippians 4:13
Baby Brooks was born on 1-13-25 at 23 weeks weighing 1 lb. 6 oz. (Update from mom)-Please everyone PRAY FOR BROOKS! I’m begging and desperate. He has taken a turn! We went for surgery yesterday for a bowel perforation. He’s had a rough night and on several drips for his blood pressure! He’s requiring 90% oxygen. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

UPDATE NICU- Baby Juan- Proverbs 3:5-6
Baby Juan was born on 11-24-24 at 28 weeks weighing 1 lb. 14 oz. and currently weighs 8 lbs. 13 oz. Baby Juan had his ostomy but is having some continued complications. Please pray those complications can be resolved so he can get ready to go home. Please pray for him to be able to breathe and eat on his own.
